Things You'll Need
- Distilled white vinegar
- Water
- Cotton balls
- Olive oil
- Vitamin E capsule
- Medicine dropper
- Cotton swabs
Instructions
Dilute 1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar in 2 teaspoons water. Pour the mixture into your cat's ears. Massage your cat's ears for one minute, then wipe remaining solution out with cotton balls. This is a naturally antibacterial ear flush that kills and removes mites and debris, while clearing up any infection caused by the mite infestation.
Combine 1 tablespoon olive oil with the contents of one vitamin E capsule and put the mixture in a medicine dropper.
Warm the dropper between your hands for five minutes, then squirt the contents into your cat's ears.
Wipe the oil from your cat's ears with cotton swabs and repeat this procedure every other day for six days.
Allow your cat's ears to rest for three days, then begin this treatment every other day for six weeks to kill any mite eggs in the ears.
