How to Get Rid of Fleas on Cats Outside

Cats who go outside frequently come in with fleas. If you allow your cats to roam outside, your cats can pick up parasites, including fleas. Cats can get fleas from other animals, mice that they catch or walking through the grass and brush. A good solution is to keep your cats indoors and use a flea systemic. These will work on cats who venture outdoors as well. They come in either topical medications or pills that you give your cat once monthly. You can purchase them through your veterinarian or through a pet supply store.
