How to Use Epsom Salts to Treat Cat Wounds

Cats can be very physical and lash out easily if something bothers them. They fight other cats to protect their territory. Most of the wounds they sustain are inflicted by other cats during fights. Injuries can be serious and cause a good deal of concern. Bite wounds can be treated by a simple warm compressing with Epsom salt solution, which has magnesium sulphate, effective for removing acid through the cat̵7;s skin. This helps alleviate pain and muscle soreness, prevents infection, and heals wounds rapidly. Most cats will recognize the benefit and enjoy the experience after the first application.
