Dosage

In cats, oral doses can vary between .01 and .03 milligrams for every one pound of the cat's weight and should be administered every eight to 24 hours, as determined by a veterinarian.
Side Effects

Side effects in cats include nervousness, anxiety, gastrointestinal problems, dizziness, restlessness, excitement, tremors and increased heart rate.
Warnings

Albuterol should not be used in cats that are pregnant, nursing or allergic to the medication. Caution should be exercised if this medication is used in cats with diabetes, high blood pressure, heart conditions or hyperthyroidism.
