Signs that your cat may be pregnant are relatively simple to identify. Though symptoms might not show up for three weeks into her pregnancy, they are both physical and behavioral.

Nipples
-
A cat's nipples will turn pink about three weeks after she becomes pregnant. After roughly six weeks the nipples will grow much larger as they fill with milk.
Quieter
-
A pregnant cat will actually become quieter and she will sleep more than usual. She may also want to spend more time outside to find a nesting spot.
Appetite
-
A cat that is pregnant will most likely have an increased appetite. Just before giving birth, her appetite will more than likely go back to normal.
Ultrasound
-
A veterinarian can detect the kittens by ultrasound. He may also be able to feel on the cat's abdomen and determine if there are kittens there.
Abdomen
-
One of the symptoms of a pregnant cat that is easy to spot is an enlarging abdomen. This normally does not happen until six weeks or later into her pregnancy, so it is important to know the other symptoms.
