All kittens are prone to worms, no matter how clean their living area. Kittens are especially prone to three types of worms: roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms. Kittens can get their first worming medications at 2 to 3 weeks old. They get dosed again every two weeks until they are three months old, then need only one dose per month until they are six months old.
