Can a 2 month old kitten die after taking bath?

Kittens should not be bathed until they are at least 8 weeks old. A 2 month old kitten is still very young and its immune system is not fully developed. Bathing a kitten this young can stress it out and make it more susceptible to illness. Additionally, the kitten's skin is very thin and can easily be irritated by soap and water. If you must bathe a 2 month old kitten, be sure to use a gentle soap and lukewarm water. Rinse the kitten thoroughly and pat it dry with a soft towel. Avoid getting water in the kitten's ears, eyes, and mouth. After the bath, keep the kitten warm and draft-free.
