What is lisilopril?

Lisilopril is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It reduces the production of a chemical in the body that causes the blood vessels to narrow, which allows the blood to flow more freely. Lisilopril is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), and to reduce the risk of stroke in certain people.
