Instructions

    • 1

Establish the structural supports on the cage. Lift the cage by the top handle to allow it to drop into position. When on the ground, secure the frame rods. These rods are located on both sides of the trap near the front door and near the back of the trap. Secure all four frame rods with the provided clips.

    • 2

Locate the U-shaped rod stored on the top of the trap, near the back. Remove this rod. The back panel should swing closed.

    • 3

Use the U-shaped rod to secure the back panel by threading it, flat end first, through retainer clips attached to the back panel from right to left. Snap the end of the rod into the retainer clip on the left side of the cage and secure the U-hooked, right end of rod to the right side of cage.

    • 4
Bait the trap with strong-smelling food to attract cats.

Locate the trigger rod stored on top of the cage and remove it. Turn the cage to access the bottom of the trigger pan. The trigger pan is a flat, metal pan located near the front of the cage. Bait the trap. Set the trap by attaching the trigger rod to the loops on the underside of the trigger pan.
