Instructions
Slide an ID tag onto collar. At the very least, this tag should include your name and phone number. Include your address and the cat's name if you desire.
Sit next to cat. Gently wrap the collar around your cat's neck. Leave space for two fingers when adjusting the collar size.
Hold the collar together with Velcro. If the collar attaches with plastic, push the ends together until they click.
If the collar resembles a belt buckle: pull one end of the collar through the first metal loop. Slide the metal point into the hole on the collar. Tuck the collar through the second metal loop.
How to Put a Tag and Collar on a Cat
A cat needs identification tags on her collar so she can be identified if she gets lost, injured or killed. Tags should include the owner's name, phone number and address. Breakaway collars connect with Velcro so the cat can lose the collar if she gets caught on branches. Other collars can connect with plastic ends that snap together, or with a buckle.
