      Gently guide your cat into an ordinary pillowcase, face first, then use the yarn or twine to tie it shut. Be sure the yarn is securely tied, but also easy to untie. Tie it as you would a shoelace.

      Place your pillowcase-covered cat into a roomy cardboard box. The box will give him the security of feeling walls around him and a sense of stability.
