Advantage Flea Control Products

Protecting pets from adult fleas, eggs and larvae is the main purpose of Advantage flea products. Placing your pets on a flea-control regimen and providing them with a monthly dose of Advantage will eliminate the possibility of flea infestation.

  1. Types

    • Advantage flea control is available for kittens, cats, puppies and dogs and is packaged in multiple doses according to weight. Single-dosage tubes can usually be purchased through your veterinarian.

    Dosage for Cats

    • Advantage flea is packaged in two dosage sizes to accommodate both cats and kittens weighing 9 lbs. and under or cats weighting over 9 lbs. Both are available in four- and six-month supplies.

    Dosage for Dogs

    • There are four dosage sizes packaged in four- or six-month supplies to accommodate different weight levels, ranging from dogs and puppies weighing 10 lbs. and under to dogs weighing over 55 lbs.

    Effects

    • Once applied, Advantage is fast acting, providing pets with immediate relief from flea bites. The solution will kill the majority of fleas on your pet along with flea larvae for at least one month.

    Benefits

    • Advantage kills fleas that can cause skin infections and allergic reactions and also protects against tapeworms. Pets can get wet through bathing or swimming without affecting the Advantage application.
