Instructions
Clean the windowsill before attaching the cat window perch. Remove as much dirt as possible and wipe the windowsill down with a damp rag. Wait two hours before attaching the perch, since the moisture will create mold and prevent the perch from securing properly to the windowsill.
Flip the window perch to expose the wood side. Put the perch on an even surface. Unscrew the thumb screws and washers. Put one frame leg into each hole. Put each thumb screws through a washer. Insert the thumbscrews into the screw holes, but do not tighten them.
Remove the Velcro from the window perch. Remove the release paper from the hook on the Velcro. Put the adhesive part of the Velcro hook on the windowsill, at least 1/2 of an inch from the windowsill edge. The adhesive takes about an hour to dry.
Place the Velcro loop side of the perch to the Velcro hoop side of the release paper. Slide the legs out so that they touch the wall. After they touch, the window perch should be level. If so, tighten the thumb screws to secure the arms into place.
Remove the cover after it gets dirty. Put the cover in a washing machine and wash it with cold water and mild soap.
Instructions for a Cat Window Perch
Cats like to look out windows and love high places. According to research conducted by animal behavioral scientist Jill Villarreal, cats spend more time looking out windows than any other activity. This makes the cat perch a common place for the cat to spend time. Not all windowsills are large enough to fit a cat and you might want the windowsill to be more comfortable. The cat window perch is a product that provides a comfortable place for the cat to sit while looking out the window. The perch does not require tools to attach and comes with a detachable, machine-washable cover.
