Instructions

  1. Dry Kitty Litter

    • 1

Dust the litter off the bricks with a feather duster. Move the duster in different up-and-down and side-to-side patterns to direct the feathers into all parts of the brick.

    • 2

Sweep the litter into a small pile; collect it with a broom and dustpan.

    • 3

Run a hand-held or upright vacuum cleaner over the random litter pieces.

    Moist or Caked-On Kitty Litter

    • 4

Lay a towel under the work surface to catch the litter.

    • 5

Fill a bucket with up to three cups of warm water. Add a few drops of liquid dish detergent and stir until a light foam forms.

    • 6

Dip a scrub brush into the solution. Lightly circle the brush over the litter-encrusted bricks, moving the brush in a downward motion at the end to whisk the litter onto the towel.

    • 7

Dab the brick dry with a clean towel.
