Instructions

    • 1

Choose five small cat toys such as a catnip mouse, a Mylar ball and a jingle ball. You could also choose items you might have at home such as a jingle bell, a segment of pipe cleaner shaped into a small circle, a feather, a pom-pom or even a milk jug ring.

    • 2

Cut the yarn into five pieces of about 6 in. each.

    • 3

Tie each piece of yarn to one of the toys or small objects. Tie the other end securely around the tip of a finger on the glove so that the toys dangle about 5 in. from the glove. Alternatively, you can use a needle and strong thread to sew the items to the glove.

When you're finishing tying on the items, slip on the glove and call kitty. Encourage her to play with the dangling items by shaking and wiggling your fingers. Drag the items along the floor and let her pounce on them.
