How to Build a Pedestal for a Cat

Building a pedestal for your cat is an easy way to give it a place to hang out without breaking your budget. Buying a comparable piece at a big box store could run you anywhere from $100 to $200. Cat tree pedestals can be made as large, or as small, as you want and they can contain any number of platforms, tubes or toys. This basic project should take no longer than a few hours, and it can be completed without the need for advanced carpentry skills.
