Instructions
Sock Fishing
Fill a sock with 2 tbsp. of catnip and one jingle bell.
Tie the end of the sock closed with a piece of yarn or string.
Attach the end of the sock to the end of a fishing pole's line. Don't use a hook on the fishing line because the cat could get injured.
Cast the homemade catnip toy in the home. Make sure to avoid casting the sock anywhere that the cat could become injured, such as near a major appliance.
Slowly reel the toy in, and watch the cat chase after the sock.
Ping Pong Ball Cat Box
Empty the contents of a large cardboard box. Depending upon the number of cats that will be playing, you may need something as large as a refrigerator box.
Fill the box with 10 to 15 ping pong balls.
Place the cat in the box and allow it to play with the balls. If the cat becomes startled easily, you may want to consider cutting a hole in the side of the box, so the cat can escape easily.
