Instructions
Clean the spot immediately. If you don't know the spot's location, turn the lights off and pass a black light over the area until you find it. Blot the area with an old rag or paper towel to remove any excess urine.
Mix together equal parts water and white distilled vinegar. Place the mixture into a plastic spray bottle.
Apply the vinegar mixture onto the urine spot using the spray bottle. Saturate the area thoroughly. Allow it to dry almost completely. Keep the spot somewhat damp.
Apply a thin coating of baking soda onto the damp spot. Shake the box to sprinkle it over the area.
Mix together 1/2-cup hydrogen peroxide and 2-tsp. liquid dishwashing detergent in a small bowl. Stir to combine.
Apply the hydrogen peroxide mixture to the baking soda spot. Pour it directly on to the spot to saturate the area.
Scrub the liquid into the baking soda using a clean toothbrush. Continue to rub it in until the baking soda is thoroughly dissolved.
Allow the liquid and baking soda to dry overnight. After the area is completely dry, vacuum up the powder.
Repeat Steps 2 through 8 if the odor is still present.
