Instructions

Stick masking tape in the areas where the wood floor meets the corners of the wall. Peel the tape off after a few seconds. Use a new piece of tape for each corner if there is a lot of hair.

    • 2

Keep a small, cordless hand-held vacuum handy. If you see a clump of pet hair on the wooden floor, you can quickly pick it up without having to making it into an ordeal.

    • 3

Use the long, skinny attachment on your regular vacuum cleaner to remove hair from under cabinets and other hard-to-reach places where pet hair accumulates.

    • 4

Sweep the hair into a dustpan with a broom. It's simple and effective.

    • 5

Wipe the floor off with a wet rag. This will pick up the single hairs that might be difficult to see just by looking at the wood floor.
