How to clean pet urine stains and odors out of rugs and upholstery

Nothing is worse than when your pet has an "accident" on the rug or couch. Looking at the stain you may say to yourself is it really worth it? Then cause you love your pet but not the mess you shrug your shoulders and say to yourself, "Yeah but how will I ever get this stain out?". Follow these quick and easy steps and wonder no more.

Things You'll Need

  • Paper towels
  • Sponge
  • 1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 3-5 drops of Eucalyptus oil
  • 1 1/2 tspns. liquid dish soap.

Instructions

      Absorb as much of the urine with the paper towels as you can.

      Make a mixture of the vinegar, liquid dish soap and eucalyptus oil.

      Apply generously to stain and let stand for 30-45 minutes.

      Moisten a towel and wring it out so that it is moist/damp (not dripping wet).

      Blot the stain and allow for it to dry.
