Is there such a thing as green cats?
Green cats do not naturally occur. However, due to mutations such as chimerism, a cat may appear to have shades of green in them. Chimerism is a rare biological phenomenon that occurs when two embryos fuse in the womb and form one individual with two sets of DNA. If one of the embryos carries a gene for green fur and the other does not, the resulting cat may have patches of green fur.
