How do you know if a cat is boy or girl?

There are several ways to determine the sex of a cat, including:

1. Physical appearance:

- Male cats (toms):

- Larger and more muscular than females

- Broader head and larger paws

- Intact toms have visible testicles.

- Female cats (queens):

- Smaller and more slender than males

- Rounder head and smaller paws

- Females have a visible vulva, located just below the tail.

2. Behavior:

- Male cats are generally more territorial and aggressive than females. They may spray urine to mark their territory and get into fights with other cats.

- Female cats are typically more affectionate and social than males. They may seek out human interaction and enjoy being petted.

3. Veterinary examination:

- If you are unsure of your cat's sex, you can take it to a veterinarian for confirmation. The vet can visually inspect the cat's genitals to determine its sex.
