Do cats exit a room in hurry when oysters are opened?

Cats are not particularly drawn to the smell of oysters.

Here's why:

* Scent: Cats have a very different sense of smell than humans. They are more sensitive to certain smells, like those of prey animals, and less sensitive to others, like seafood.

* Taste: While some cats might enjoy the taste of fish, oysters have a strong, briny flavor that most cats find unappealing.

* Instinct: Cats are primarily carnivores and their instinct is to hunt and eat meat. Oysters don't fit into their natural diet.

So, it's highly unlikely that a cat would be in a hurry to exit a room when oysters are opened. They might be more interested in the food you're eating or the can opener you're using!
