How to Make Your Own Beef & Rice Cat Food

You want to feed your cat the best food possible, and one way to do that is to make your own cat food. Many commercial brands of cat food contain by-products, or parts of the animal such as hooves, intestines and beaks. Dry cat food can dehydrate cats, another reason to feed them homemade wet food. Rather than simply feeding your cat(s) beef, which is low in carbohydrates, feed them a beef and rice mixture for proper nutrition.
