Instructions

    • 1

Preheat the oven to 350 F. Spray down both baking pans with non-stick cooking spray.

    • 2

Chop three tablespoons of parsley into small pieces.

    • 3

Remove the lid from the blender and add one six-ounce can of tuna in oil and the chopped parsley. Replace the lid and blend on medium until a paste is formed.

    • 4

Crush one cup of corn flakes thoroughly using a rolling pin until they are the size and consistency of bread crumbs.

    • 5

Combine the corn flakes with two tablespoons of wheat germ and two tablespoons of dried fish flakes in a bowl, ensuring they are mixed well.

    • 6

Pour the tuna paste into a separate bowl, using a rubber spatula to remove from the sides and bottom of the blender.

    • 7

Roll the tuna paste into small balls, and then roll them in the corn flake mixture until they are thoroughly coated.

    • 8

Place ten to fifteen balls onto each baking pan, leaving room between them. Place the baking pans in the oven and allow them to cook for 7 to 10 minutes.

    • 9

Turn the oven off and crack the door to allow the heat to escape. Let the balls set for 10 minutes and then close the oven door again for up to 10 minutes.

    • 10

Transport the treat balls into ziplock bags and place in the freezer. To serve, remove the balls from the freezer 30 minutes before serving to allow them to unthaw.
