Instructions

    • 1

Slice the hot dogs long ways into four quarters with a pizza cutter. Then cut them into smaller pieces about 1/8-to 1/4-inch thick.

    • 2

Spread out the cut pieces of hot dog onto a paper towel. Then stack another paper towel on top of this, and then place more pieces of hot dogs on top of the paper towels like the first layer. You can layer them six or seven times, and put a final paper towel on top.

    • 3

Place your paper towel layers of hot dog in the microwave. Put the microwave on full power for three minutes.

    • 4

Check the hot dog pieces in each layer of paper towels. When they are done, the hot dog pieces will be crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. If the hot dogs are not finished, put them in the microwave for a minute or two longer.

Remove the pieces of hot dog from the paper towels and let them cool. Once the hot dog pieces are cool you have dog treats. You can store them in a Tupperware container on your counter.
