Things You'll Need
- Tupperware or similar airtight container
- Adhesive label
- Permanent marker
Instructions
Let the dry homemade pet treats cool completely. Place them in an airtight plastic container. If you are unsure the container is airtight, place the pet treats in a Ziploc bag, seal the bag and place the bag in the container.
Seal the container securely with the lid to prevent any air from having constant contact with the pet treats. This could cause premature staleness.
Write the name of the pet treats and the date you made them on the label with a permanent marker. Place the label on the container.
Store the sealed container in a cool, dry and dark place to keep the treats fresh for several weeks. Alternatively, store homemade pet treats in the refrigerator for up to two months and in the freezer for up to eight months.
