Instructions
Use a knife to cut a piece of raw liver into bite-size pieces (about two square inches).
Place the pieces in your dog's feeding dish or other container.
Place the feeding dish or container next to your dog's water dish.
Write on your calendar each time you feed your dog liver. Limit liver to three times a week to keep your dog from developing medical problems associated with an overdose of Vitamin A.
How to Feed Liver to Dogs
Feeding your dog is a daily task that keeps him healthy. Your dog, like other animals, can eat a variety of foods, including dry and raw foods and organ meats like liver, kidney or heart. Feeding your dog too much liver can lead to his stools becoming loose. Liver also contains Vitamin A, which in large quantities can cause health problems in dogs.
