How to Switch a Puppy to a Different Dog Food

A method to keep a puppy healthy and regular is to feed it only one brand of puppy food. At approximately 9 months to 1 year, the puppy will outgrow the need for the extra nutrients found in puppy kibble and it can be gradually introduced to adult dog food. Simply switching the puppy to adult dog food can cause symptoms such as nausea, upset stomach and diarrhea.
