Oatmeal Cookies

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Stir together 2 cups of rice, 2 packages of oatmeal after mixing with milk, 1 cup of carrots, 1/3 of a cup of spinach, 1/4 of a cup of molasses, 1/2 tablespoon of brown gravy mix, 1/2 tablespoon of vegetable oil, and 4 tablespoons of applesauce. Pour in 1 and 1/4 cups of flour while stirring the ingredients. Drop small blobs of batter onto a cookie sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
Liver Cookies

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix together 1 beaten egg, 1/3 of a cup of melted butter, 2 cups of whole wheat flour, and 6 tablespoons of water. After the mixture is blended, continue to stir and mix in 1/4 of a cup of chopped liver from dried or jerky treats. Grease a baking pan and pour the mixture into it. Spread the mixture evenly and bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Allow to cool and cut out into squares or round cookies.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix together 1 beaten egg, 2 and 1/2 cups of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt, 1/2 of a cup of powdered milk, 6 tablespoons of gravy, 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of brown sugar, and 1/2 of a cup of water. Mix in a small amount of baby food meat into the mixture as well. Add flour to a cutting board or hard surface and roll out the mixture with a rolling pin. The batter should be about 1/2 inch thick. Cut out your cookies and bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes. After the cookies have cooled and hardened, store them in a sealed container.
Chicken Liver

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Mix together 2 cups of flour and 1 cup of wheat germ. Cornmeal can be substituted for the wheat germ. Beat together 1 egg and 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a separate bowl. Add 2 teaspoons of parsley and 1/2 cup of chicken broth to the egg and vegetable oil mixture and mix thoroughly. Slowly add the bowl of flour and wheat germ to the egg mixture, stirring as you pour. Drop in 1 cup of cooked and chopped chicken liver and stir into the mixture to coat the liver. Sprinkle flour onto a hard surface and pour out the batter. Knead the batter, and use a rolling pin to roll the batter to a 1/2-inch thickness. Cut the batter into cookies or desired shapes, and place the cookies on a greased cookie sheet. Spread the cookies 1 inch apart, and bake for 15 minutes. Refrigerate when finished.
