Instructions

  1. Cook Dog Food for Boxers

    • 1

Pour water into the 20-qt. pot. Add the canola oil and place on stove eye set to medium to medium-high. Place the frozen turkey meat into the water. After water has heated up for a few minutes, turn the stove off and let the meat thaw.

    • 2

Place the potatoes into the microwave and bake them while you allow the meat to dethaw. Ten to 12 small potatoes may be used for this step as well.

    • 3

Allow the meat to thaw completely and break into small pieces. Turn the stove eye back on. Allow the meat to cook in the water until it starts to turn brown. Once the meat is brown, stir in tomatoes, carrots, spinach, green beans, kidney beans, lima beans and frozen broccoli.

    • 4

Chop the potatoes into bite-sized pieces. There is no need to peel the potatoes before doing this. Add the pieces into the mixture with the cloves of garlic.

    • 5

Cook the mixture until it comes to a boil. Once boiling, add the quick-cooking oatmeal into the mixture and stir. You will need to stir the mixture until the oatmeal is evenly distributed in the mixture.

    • 6

Allow the mixture to simmer for 15 minutes. Turn off the heat. Spoon the entire mixture into small storage containers and place in the refrigerator for later use.

    • 7

Microwave each serving of your boxer's food for 1 to 1.5 minutes. Tear a piece of bread up and stir into the mixture once it is heated. Serve the mixture.
