How to Make Sweet Dog Cookies

It is not a good idea to feed your dog people food. Your dog has different nutritional needs than you have. This is why Vet's recommend certain brands of dog food. They know which brand has the most nutrients that your dog needs. You can, however, make your dog some cookies at home that are both sweet and safe for your dog to eat. These cookies can be used as treats for your dog when he has been especially good.

Things You'll Need

  • 2 cups of whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup of nonfat milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cube of chicken bullion
  • 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 tbps. of brown sugar
  • Mixing bowl
  • Cookie sheet
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • Small glass
  • 1 pkg. of cream cheese
  • 2 tbps. of honey

Instructions

      Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

      Spray your cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray.

      Boil your water and add the chicken bullion cube. Stir until completely dissolved.

      Combine flour, milk, oil, egg, brown sugar and chicken bullion in a large mixing bowl.

      Sprinkle your table top with some flour and place the mixture from your mixing bowl on it. Flatten out the dough to 1/4 of an inch thick.

      Flip a small glass upside down and use as a cookie cutter. Cut the cookies out of the dough and place them on the cookie sheet.

      Place the cookie sheet in the oven and cook for half an hour.

      Remove the cookies and allow them to cool off.

      Beat cream cheese and honey until fluffy.

      Spread on to each cookie and serve to your dog as a treat.
