Instructions

    • 1

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

    • 2

Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.

    • 3

Put the egg, vegetable oil, baby food and water in a bowl. Mix until thoroughly combined without beating the egg into a froth.

    • 4

Sift the salt, flour and powdered milk into a separate bowl.

    • 5

Pour the wet ingredients on top of the dry mixture. Stir the mixture together until it forms a smooth, uniform dough -- don't overmix it.

    • 6

Place the dough on a floured countertop. Roll it out to about 1/2-inch thickness so you can bake the treats thoroughly without burning the edges.

    • 7

Use cookie cutters to cut out different shapes. Place the treats on a cookie sheet. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, or until the edges lightly brown.

    • 8

Cool your homemade dog treats thoroughly on a wire rack. Store them in an airtight container.
