Instructions

    • 1

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.

    • 2

Place 2 cups whole wheat flour and 1/2 cup all purpose white flour in a large mixing bowl and stir them together well.

    • 3

Stir in 1/2 tsp. minced garlic, 1/4 cup chicken or beef broth, 1/2 cup cold water, 1 cup cooked and pureed vegetables and 2 sprigs fresh parsley. Make sure the ingredients are completely mixed. The mixture should form a stiff dough. If it seems too thin, add more flour. If it's too thick, add more broth or water.

    • 4

Put the dough on a floured board and roll it to a thickness of 1/2 inch.

    • 5

Cut the dough into treat sizes with a cookie cutter.

    • 6

Place the low protein dog biscuits on an oiled cookie sheet and bake them for 25 minutes. Allow them to cool and put them in an airtight container.

    • 7

Store the low protein dog biscuits in the refrigerator.
