Instructions

    • 1

Wash and peel 3 cups of carrots, and cook them in simmering water until they're tender.

    • 2

Puree the boiled carrots in a blender or food processor.

    • 3

Blend in the eggs and minced garlic.

    • 4

Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the parsley, whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, oatmeal and wheat germ.

    • 5

Sprinkle some all-purpose flour on your work surface and roll the dough to a thickness of about 1/2 inch. Cut the carrot treats into bars, or use a cookie cutter to cut them into shapes.

    • 6

Place the carrot treats on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees F. for 45 to 50 minutes. Remove them from the oven sooner if you don't want them to be crunchy.

    • 7

Let the carrot treats cool and harden on a wire rack.
