Instructions
Place a 1/2 cup of canned pumpkin, 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter, 2 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour and two eggs in a mixing bowl.
Combine the ingredients with a wire whisk to create dough. Incorporate up to a 1/2 cup of water into the mixture as needed to make the dough pliable. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Flour your work surface, such as a counter top, and place the dough on top. Roll the dough out into a 1/2-inch sheet using a rolling pin.
Cut the rolled dough into small squares or create whimsical shapes, such as dog paw prints and bones, using cookie cutters.
Bake the treats on a nonstick cookie sheet for 30 to 40 minutes, or until they are hard all of the way through. Allow the cookies to cool to room temperature before feeding them to your dog.
