When were cats made?

Cats haven't been "made" in the sense that someone designed them. They evolved over millions of years through natural selection.

The earliest ancestor of modern cats lived about 25 million years ago. These small, tree-dwelling creatures gradually evolved into different species, eventually leading to the domestic cat we know today.

The first domestic cats were likely descended from the African wildcat, which was domesticated in the Near East around 10,000 years ago.
