Instructions
Place a paper towel over the affected area to absorb as much of the cat spray as possible. Mix one part vinegar to two parts water in the spray bottle. Spray the mixture over the leather and leave to dry. Dampen a soft cloth and wipe the leather until all of the vinegar mixture has been removed. Sprinkle bicarbonate of soda over the leather if the smell persists. This will absorb any remaining cat spray residue. Vacuum after 15 to 30 minutes.
Absorb excess cat spray with a paper towel. Mix 15 oz. of hydrogen peroxide, 2 tbsp. of baking soda and two squirts of liquid hand soap in a plastic container with a plastic spoon. Use gloves to avoid contact with the skin. Apply the solution to the affected area with a soft cloth. Rinse with warm water.
Blot the stain with a paper towel. Spray a commercial cat odor remover over the area where the cat has sprayed. There are many commercial cat spray removers on the market. They contain enzymes that break down the cat urine and absorb the odor. Wipe the area with a dry, soft cloth.
