Instructions
Use paper towels. Blot the cat urine stain until the paper towels will not soak up anymore. If the urine stain is dry, wet the spot slightly with water and a sponge to remove as much urine as possible.
Wet the stained area with hydrogen peroxide. Allow the hydrogen peroxide to soak into the stain for half an hour to an hour. Cover the area with paper towels and apply pressure periodically while the hydrogen peroxide dries. Allow the hydrogen peroxide to soak overnight if you are working with a dried stain.
Vacuum the stained area where the hydrogen peroxide has dried.
Mix one part warm water and one part vinegar in a bowl. Soak the stained area with the vinegar-and-water mixture. Allow the area to soak for approximately one hour. Use a wet-vac on the stained area to remove excess moisture.
Mix baking soda with a quarter cup of hydrogen peroxide in a bowl. Add a teaspoon of dish-washing detergent. Use a wooden spoon to mix thoroughly.
Apply the baking soda mixture on the stain. Work the mixture into the area with a scrubbing brush. Allow enough time for the mixture to dry.
Vacuum the dried baking soda mixture from the affected area.
