Instructions

    • 1

Turn a simple kitten outline into a 3D card. Fold an 8-1/2-by-11 inch sheet of paper in half vertically to create an 8-1/2-by-5-1/2 inch rectangle. Next, draw a kitten shape on the paper, making it stand up. Make sure that your tail and ears extend to the folded edge, but beyond that, the design's up to you. Cut out the kitten when you're done. You'll have a fold-out card that looks like a kitten. Enhance your card by coloring the cat with colored pencils or markers.

Print out a picture of your kitten on nice card stock for a personal touch. If you have digital photos of your cat use those; if not, take a printed photo to a print shop and ask them to photocopy it onto nice card stock.

Or, cut a potato in half, trace a kitten shape and cut out the area around it. Dip your potato in poster paint, then stamp paper.
