Instructions
Carpet And Rugs
Sprinkle a light, even layer of baking soda onto your carpet or rug before vacuuming to loosen cat hair.
Vacuum the rug or carpet thoroughly to remove as much of the cat hair as possible.
Wet a clean sponge mop under running water. Squeeze to remove excess water.
Pull or push the mop across the carpet or rug in one direction only to remove hair. The damp mop will attract the hair.
Rinse the mop outside to remove the hair from the sponge.
Furniture
Install the upholstery attachment on your vacuum cleaner's hose and vacuum the furniture to remove the majority of the cat hair.
Put on a pair of rubber gloves and rub area of the furniture affected by cat hair in a circular motion. Wipe the gloves off with a damp paper towel once the hair accumulates. Dry the gloves with a dry towel before continuing.
Hold a cellulose sponge under running water and squeeze gently to remove any excess water.
Wipe the areas of the furniture affected by cat hair with the sponge. Only wipe in one direction to avoid transferring the hair back to the furniture.
