Instructions

    • 1

Position each cat in an area, such as your front porch, and use a grooming glove to remove any loose hair from their coats. For best results, do this on a daily basis. By doing this outside, you will reduce the amount of hair that will become airborne and end up clinging to objects in your home.

    • 2

Place throws on your furniture if you allow your cats to use your chairs and sofas. Then, when hair accumulates, you can shake them off outside and then wash and dry them to remove the hair.

    • 3

Regularly use a pet hair remover, with sticky adhesive sheets, to clean up hair around your home, on cloth shoes, and on sides and back of furniture and bedding.

    • 4

Sweep and vacuum on a daily basis to remove any hair in the environment. Pay special attention to feeding areas or areas where your cats tend to spend time. Wipe down your carpet with a damp terry cloth towel to remove fine cat hair that is not readily removed by a vacuum.

Remove pet hair from computer keyboards, telephones and other electronic devices with a can of compressed air. Direct the air stream onto the areas littered with hair, and then wipe or vacuum to remove the hair when it falls.
