Check the material you are bleaching to ensure it is safe to bleach. You can do this either by reading the tag, if available, or by testing a small amount on an unseen portion of the material.

    • 2

Combine one tablespoon of liquid dish soap with one tablespoon of vinegar and two cups of warm water.

    • 3

Apply the mixture to the stain with a towel. Dab the area, and allow it to sit for a few minutes.

    • 4

Use another towel to dab the area dry.

    • 5

Apply the bleach to the stain. Do so carefully. You might want to use an eyedropper to help your precision. Allow the bleach to sit for a few minutes.

Dab the area with a wet cloth to clear it of any remaining bleach. Then, use a dry cloth to dab it dry.
