Things You'll Need
- Live Trap
- Bait
- Leather Gloves
Instructions
Observe the cats or kittens you want to trap, if there are nursing kittens then you will need to get the mother cat as well. Count the number of kittens to make sure you get them all. Cats have paths they travel around and inside buildings. Make a mental note of their travel habits.
You can obtain a live trap from most local police department animal control officer or you can get one from here http://www.wildlife-traps.com/
Wait and check the trap a couple of times per day. When you catch your kitty then you will need the leather gloves to carry or remove the feline from the trap. Most cats are real mad when they caught in a trap so approach with caution, cover the trap with a towel or blanket when transporting to help calm the cat down.
You will now set and bait the trap, most cats are pretty smart and won't walk right in. You may have to disguise it along side a wall so it looks like they're running into a tunnel.
