Is geotropism internal or external stimulus?

Geotropism is an internal stimulus.

Geotropism is the growth of a plant in response to gravity. The root grows down, and the stem grows up. This is because of the plant's internal hormones, called auxins. Auxins are produced in the root tip and travel up the stem. They cause the cells in the root to elongate, which makes the root grow down. The auxins also cause the cells in the stem to shorten, which makes the stem grow up.
