Is there day and night in heaven?

In the Bible, there are various descriptions and symbolic representations of heaven, but the concept of day and night as experienced on Earth is not directly mentioned. Heaven is often described as a place of eternal light and glory, where there is no need for the sun or the moon because the presence of God provides constant illumination (Revelation 21:23-25).

Here are a few references to light in relation to heaven:

1. Revelation 22:5: "There will be no more night. People will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign forever and ever."

2. Isaiah 60:19-20: "The sun will no longer be your light during the day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Your sun will never go down, and your moon will not wane; for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end."

3. 2 Corinthians 4:6: "For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

4. John 8:12: "Jesus spoke to the people, saying, 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.'"

These verses emphasize the presence of eternal light and the glory of God in heaven. Rather than the alternating cycles of day and night as we experience on Earth, heaven is depicted as a place of constant divine illumination and radiant light.
