What is a carnivour?

Carnivora (commonly known as carnivorans or carnivores) is a biological order encompassing over 280 species of placental mammals that are primarily meat-eaters. This group includes familiar species such as lions, tigers, bears, wolves, foxes, and many others. Carnivorous animals are characterized by their specialized adaptations for hunting, catching, and consuming animal prey. They typically possess sharp teeth, strong jaws, and retractable claws that assist them in capturing and tearing their food.
