Why were viruses made?

Viruses are not created or made. They are natural entities that have evolved over millions of years.

Viruses are not cells and cannot reproduce on their own. They need to infect a host cell to multiply and spread. Viruses are not sentient beings and do not have the intention or purpose of causing disease or harm. They simply carry genetic material that, when introduced into a host cell, can disrupt its normal functioning.

The origin and evolution of viruses are still topics of scientific research, and there is ongoing study and debate about the exact details.
