Common signs of uveitis are
- red or bloodshot eyes,
- cloudy vision,
- excessive squinting,
- pawing at the eye and eye discharge.
Treatment for uveitis depends on the underlying cause and may include eye drops, systemic medications, or surgery. To properly diagnose the cause further assessment including imaging and testing performed by a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist may be recommended based on the severity of the inflammation.
