Things You'll Need
- Mosquito netting, approximately 12-by-12 feet, depending on the size of the crib and the height of the ceiling
- Gloves
- Large screws hook, 2 to 3 inches long
- Ladder
Instructions
Measure the height of the ceiling and the dimensions of the crib. Use these dimensions to buy enough mosquito netting to reach from the ceiling to a foot above the floor, and to easily drape over all four sides of the crib without pulling tightly.
Put on gloves, which will help provide friction while you screw a hook into the ceiling. Climb a ladder, and find the point on the ceiling that is directly above the crib, between all four sides, right in the middle.
Screw the hook, clockwise, tightly and securely into the ceiling until it is fully inserted. Tug on it a little to make sure it is firmly in the ceiling.
Spread the mosquito netting out flat on the ground. Use a marker and create a small circle directly in the center of the mosquito netting, an equal distance from all four sides. Pick the netting up and bring it to the hook on the ceiling. Hook the mark securely onto the ceiling hook so the hook cuts through the netting.
Take each side of the mosquito netting and drape it over the crib, so all the netting is on the outside of the crib. Pull it straight so it is not caught on any sides of the crib and all sides are about a foot above the ground.
